Happy as managed all session working round Christmas.
Just worried about how much fitness I going to lose over the next month. Will try and fit in as much as I can.

Another strong week Sue. I wouldn’t worry too much about the holiday. If you were coming back straight into the races then perhaps it would be a concern, but you’ll still have time afterwards to get the fitness back in shape and you’re running so well right now, that is only going to help.

All about time on feet. Don’t focus on pace. Instead keep that effort level down and concentrate on good running economy. Fuelling and hydration key too.

Ran with Ellie. We did walk some of the 2 nd half of the route as Ellie had only done up to 8 recently. I was worried she would obtain an injury.. Very cold. Running against the cold wind along Blackland Ave. Felt strong at the end could have carried on

Done slightly longer as lead the longer run. 2 hours all together. Was surprised that I felt good. Most probably last long run until February Supported Chrissie for most of her 150 min so took it easy. Plus had someone who was returning after 4 to 5 weeks off with a virus was struggling so supported them. Not sure why people who have been off think it a good idea to return to do a 2 hr run.
Well done Sue. I think given you’ve got very few long runs coming up, it was fine to do this today. Thanks for supporting the others and yes I agree, not a wise move coming back from a virus straight to a 2 hour run.
