I’ve kept it relatively light this week. Leave it with me and I will get the new plan up and running for next Monday. Any problems let me know.

Good pilates but tough. Getting back into it
Well done Andy. Yeah coming back from a marathon, as I’m finding out more than ever, can be tough. But hopefully a few solid weeks will get you back in the swing of things

Really push that pace here, especially on the 2s and 1s. A chance to really improve your pace and bring that 5k time down. Let’s do this!

Found this quite hard. Couldn’t hit the target pace for 4,3, 2 mins so just focused on keeping it under 6min/km. Feel like I’ve lost a bit of fitness or a bit rusty after couple weeks off, but not worried and enjoyed the run.
Well done Andy. I think the important thing right now is to remind yourself you don’t need to be running at your best. You just need to keep trying hard. We’re coming off the back of the marathon and haven’t done much speed work. But we’ve got quite a nice period to build that fitness back up for big races in the Spring. So the most important thing is just getting the training done and not worrying too much about pace for the next 4-5 weeks, it will soon return.

Perfect. Nice to give back and so much better than just 30 mins solo. Great work Andy

Enjoyed parkrun today. Bumped into a friend from run club and ended up running with him. Probably did get a bit caught up and ran too fast ha! But was good to see where I was. Felt quite a hard effort(7.5/10) for ~30min 5k. So hoping this will start feeling more comfortable soon
Nice to catch up and run with a friend and no worries about the extra effort. A few bonus pts banked as a result, so that’s good news. Hopefully as we get back in the habit of those speed sessions 30 mins will feel comfortable again. Great work Andy
