A very similar week to last with the 4 runs, all of which could be done in groups if you wanted. Then next week will be a recovery week, so a lighter schedule, so work hard knowing you’ve got a break coming up. Any issues let me know. Keep going Patrick. You’re making some good progress, just need to keep hitting the targets.

A great 5k session to improve speed. Don’t got off too quick, so focus on your pace in those first few reps, then you’ll get an idea of how far you can run each rep. From there you can then pick up the pace and cadence for the 1 minute reps.

Well done Patrick, another good session.

If you have an accurate heart rate, then use that as your main data to determine pace, if not RPE is the best option. Hills are always going to cause them to go too high, unless you are super fit. Finish off with some strides.

If you have accurate heart rate data that is far and away the best guide for this run. Stay in Zone 2 if you can.

Well done Patrick!

Keep the long runs at a low effort level. Obviously the longer the time wears on the harder the run will become. Make sure you hydrate and take fuel with you.
