A tweaked scheduled based on the physio appointment.

21 Points Achieved

Well 3 runs done so have to be thankful for that. And a longer one in parkrun. Fed up of being injured! Gotta be patient i guess!

Yeah it can be frustrating but always try and stay positive and the fact you can run several times. Once a week seems my limit and I’m about 10 weeks in now πŸ˜₯ Well done on hitting the targets though

Foot still not good. Have to walk tonight as off to see the Bedgebury lights. Guess that will show how im doing. So fed up right now!
Try not to let it get you down too much. It is frustrating I know. Hopefully it will improve as the week goes on and at the moment it won’t be effecting your fitness much. We may have just progressed too quickly over the past 3-4 weeks and that increase in pace and intensity might have caused the problem. So we’ll factor that in going forward and perhaps a few more easy miles may help. Hopefully the foot is ok for your walk tonight.

20 minutes went well. Foot pain did not increase during the run. If anything it got a little easier during the run. Felt comfortable with around 11.30 pace. Instructions were to run super slow! Guess i kinda did that!
That’s really positive news. Glad it felt ok and fingers crossed it will continue to improve. Well done Lucy

Parkrun went ok. Foot felt ok during the run. Felt comfortable throughout the run. Still managing a little bit of pace despite the injury. Foot hurts alot when im just walking about so its strange that running feels ok! Next physio appointment on friday and she’ll try and release the tightness.
That can happen sometimes with certain injuries. But just listen to the advice of the physio. Glad you were able to run today and hopefully the pain when you don’t run starts to subside too. Keep me posted when you do have your next appointment. Well done Lucy.

Run completed. Foot still holding up. Guess ive got to be patient , do what the physio says and not skip ahead!
Yeah that’s all you can do. We have to put faith in the physio and listen to their advice. Just good that you can continue to run. Well done Lucy
