I don’t think Lydd is completely off the cards. Let’s see how you feel come Wednesday. After your mumps last week I have given you rest up until then. But take more if you need it. This is the last week of this plan as well. So let me know if you are keen to continue. We probably want to focus on the shorter distances up to 10k for a while, as I know the longer runs have been causing you some problems.

If you have accurate heart rate data that is far and away the best guide for this run. Stay in Zone 2 if you can.
Stick to your goal pace early on and it should feel easy. Dig deep in those final 5km to achieve your goal. The biggest mistake you can make is getting swept along in the early stages and going off too fast.
