Tuesday’s session is what the group are doing if you wanted to join us and I can pass on your trophy from Heathfield. Then with Bewl on Sunday it’s just the one additional run. If you did prefer to switch efforts for some more easy miles, that would also be fine this week. We want to be fresh Sunday. Keep up the great work Victoria.

A good session early in a marathon plan to practice running at goal pace. Each 5k block will get progressively harder in terms of a higher heart rate and RPE, pace should be the same throughout the 5k reps.

Went a bit faster to start given missing efforts, but sustainable – eased off at end. Bit jaded from hol so didnt feel amazing, but ok. Did warm up but forgot to turn watch back on after crossing road… Its frustrating how a break in routine messes with everything but got to have a life suppose!
Great session. Just what we needed. Yeah it’s about finding the right balance which works for you. You are still running well and picking up some good results, if that wasn’t the case then the we could worry a bit more about the disruptions. A few others spring to mind that have to shuffle stuff around and miss sessions, but still make improvements and get excellent results, so I wouldn’t worry too much. Awesome work Victoria.

If you have accurate heart rate data that is far and away the best guide for this run. Stay in Zone 2 if you can.

Ok, hr bit high, nothing out of the ordinary!
Job done. Thank you sir. On we go. Referencing the run, more than the football, just in case you were confused. Well done Victoria.

You’ve well educated in this area so more than happy if you want to mix it up.

No time for gym today so 45 mins or so of bodyweight legs (quads sore for some reason?!) upper and some core. Regretted not going gym, house is hot as the bloody sun 😬😬😬
You can only make the best use of the time you have, so well done. That’s the only thing with the gym, it takes a lot longer. Even just getting ready and getting there is a pain sometimes. Good job Victoria

This is likely to be Bewl 15 as it’s the only 15 mile race I know of. Marathon pace is a good target here as the trails and likely warm conditions will slow you down a fraction, not to mention the hills late on.

Pb snagged! 2.19 chip time. Was hoping for better after all the long runs but not too bad still given the heat. That last 5 miles proper brings pace down… Not sure I was 100%, hrv a bit down but I did actually enjoy the first 10 miles or so, I knew I was going a bit quicker at that point.
Smashed it. Lots of love from the other runners as well who have so much respect for you. Lucy P in particular has been singing your praises today. That was a brilliant time in such challenging conditions. Awesome work Victoria. A huge week!!!
