A really tough session, so the key is to make sure the early reps are 10k pace and no quicker otherwise you will quickly run out of steam. Short recoveries here, so get that pace right.

Yes ….. I’m still sulking 🤣 did I like the session erm no, did the people running help absolutely! Tried to be diplomatic but it’s not really working! Praise or feedback on reps – none oh except well done once, I mentioned to Rach as we went past that we were much faster then 10k pace and even 5k to be told just keep going you can do it! ….. well actually if I kept going at that pace no way would I have been able to get to last reps Didn’t strap knees – so now have bit of an ache Possibly down to having to rush cool down and the rushed stretches? I don’t like to moan (actually I do lol 😂) But I didn’t enjoy track this week, will give it a few more tries with new coaches but they may suck the life from my bones 🤣🤣🤣🤣 yes I’m still being dramatic xx
😂 I think in their defence that was their first session, I’ve been doing it for 5 years. It takes time to become comfortable and yes they made mistakes but hopefully they will learn from those. Was the session ideal? No. But let’s see what happens aye. Way before the meeting last week I’d ask them to help me with track. Because for the past 5 years whenever I have done my own efforts I’ve done it in a small group and had to run on my own. That’s hard, and I miss having the opportunity to run with others. So it was going to me 1 week, a different coach the next. That was the plan anyway, so it’s not too different. I had fun, you seemed to have fun, Rachel had fun, I can’t speak for the others, apart from Bob, he loved it. Let’s see what happens. Well done and enjoy your trip to Corfu. I hope the sun shines.
