If the yoga retreat did it’s job then you should come back feeling re-energised and Sunday’s run should be a breeze 😂 Have a great time away.

150 Mins Run

Zone 2

All about time on feet. Don’t focus on pace. Instead keep that effort level down and concentrate on good running economy. Fuelling and hydration key too.

There was actually no point in me even doing that run. I didn’t account for jetlag and I’ve been up since 3 am. I just didn’t have it in me today and I’m actually questioning whether or not I can even do a marathon at this stage.
Oi, less of that negative self talk please. Remember let me be the judge of what you can and can’t do. Trust me, you’re on track. Obviously what I also hadn’t planned for was the jetlag and lack of sleep, had I known about that I would have suggested to rest. But looking at your Strava you did lots of yoga and swimming whilst away which will help. So forget this one, back on track next week once you’ve caught up on your sleep. You’re going to be better prepared than probably 75% of people running marathons this spring. Really well done for getting so much done given the circumstances.
