Depending how the 50k goes you might be fine to chuck in some easy runs on the trails and I’ve not completely ruled out HHM either. I have a nice group running with me for sub 2 which I think is in your ball park right now. See how the week goes. Also if you are keen for plan number 8, let me know and I will get the ball rolling.

Stick to your goal pace early on and it should feel easy. Dig deep in those final 5km to achieve your goal. The biggest mistake you can make is getting swept along in the early stages and going off too fast.

I loved this! Thanks to the sun, the runners and the crowd support, that was genuinely enjoyable! I was worried I’d be demoralised if I couldn’t keep up with you, but thanks to your pacing early on, I got into a good strong rhythm and knew I was running well, and going at a good pace for me. So athouhh I was 3 mins behind you by the end, I actually felt pleased with myself. What a great event that is!
It’s brilliant isn’t it, so pleased you enjoyed it. The weather definitely helped but the crowds are incredible. Awesome running today Anna and glad I was able to help.
