I know you like to keep busy so lots of little easier sessions this week to keep the pts down the week ahead of the ultra. Less is more this week. You can spoil your day next week if you overdo things here. So be sensible.

Always fun to train in a group. Ask for help if unsure on your technique on the exercises.

Nice to be back at ASPT. Time used wisely. 😊
Always an excellent way to start the week. Must be nice training outside now? Well done Su. Nice easy week please.

“Rest days are key. Our body adapts and gets stronger when we rest & recovery. Have a good one!”

You made me smile reading β€˜ nice easy week please’, as if I’d do anything else πŸ˜†. I swam today as it was my day off, 55 mins, good pace ( partly because I upset someone and was embarrassed. So swam as fast as I could 🫣) but I will rest Friday ( always my tired day). Hope you are well and ready for Worthing. It was good to be back swimming and generally cross training, all running has taken its toll pain wise. Happy not to have any running next week ( other than the obvious) and just swim/ cycle.
Well done Su. Thanks for listening πŸ˜‚ Yeah I’m looking forward to it. Feeling good myself right now and current pace is ideal to tuck in with the 45 min pacer on Sunday. Glad you enjoyed the swim.

A great way to get the heart pumping to some banging tunes. Have fun 😁

1hr spin class, no legs session. Got a fluctuating efforts and heart rate. Can fit in an easy leg/ core on Friday.
Well done on the spin Su, if you get time on Friday great, but not essential this week. Less is more.

I had to create a new session for you guys. Have fun. 60 mins easy is perfect in terms of training load.

Bimble completed, always a pleasure. Good to see you!
The park was beautiful yesterday. You have those moments in life where you just really appreciate everything, and that was one of them. Glad you enjoyed the run, hard not to in that environment. Well done Su, and was lovely to see you all.

Definitely need to change what you are doing based on my research. Often and little is the key to help you. The more you do this at home, the better.

45 Mins Swimming @ Easy Pace

RPE: 3

It’s said that 1 minute of swimming has the same benefit as 1 minute of running. So a nice 45 minute swim replaces an easy 45 minute run and takes away any impact. Ideal if you are struggling a little with injury.

Completed Tuesday.
Pts accredited to Tuesday 😁 Well done Su

60 Mins Run

Zone 2: Easy

If you have accurate heart rate data that is far and away the best guide for this run. Stay in Zone 2 if you can.

I did have a little swim, and followed up with sauna, jacuzzi and ice bath, I do need to make more time for the medicinal benefits of these, as I do tend to rush off after the exercise bit!
Yeah that’s the best thing about Bannatynes compared to our gym. So if you have the time, relax a bit more.
