You made me smile reading โ€˜ nice easy week pleaseโ€™, as if Iโ€™d do anything else ๐Ÿ˜†. I swam today as it was my day off, 55 mins, good pace ( partly because I upset someone and was embarrassed. So swam as fast as I could ๐Ÿซฃ) but I will rest Friday ( always my tired day). Hope you are well and ready for Worthing. It was good to be back swimming and generally cross training, all running has taken its toll pain wise. Happy not to have any running next week ( other than the obvious) and just swim/ cycle.
Well done Su. Thanks for listening ๐Ÿ˜‚ Yeah I’m looking forward to it. Feeling good myself right now and current pace is ideal to tuck in with the 45 min pacer on Sunday. Glad you enjoyed the swim.

It’s said that 1 minute of swimming has the same benefit as 1 minute of running. So a nice 45 minute swim replaces an easy 45 minute run and takes away any impact. Ideal if you are struggling a little with injury.

I did have a little swim, and followed up with sauna, jacuzzi and ice bath, I do need to make more time for the medicinal benefits of these, as I do tend to rush off after the exercise bit!
Yeah that’s the best thing about Bannatynes compared to our gym. So if you have the time, relax a bit more.
