I’ve got everything from Thursday as blank due to the hip injection. I really hope that goes well and you have a swift recovery. If you need to change up anything before that let me know.

Always fun to train in a group. Ask for help if unsure on your technique on the exercises.

Solid 1hr + at ASPT, using the running time to do my 🍊stretches. ✅
Sensible approach. Well done on starting the week in such a positive way. Great work Su.

30 Mins Elliptical

30 Mins Elliptical

Zone 2: Easy

A good way to boost cardio whilst reducing the risk of injury. The elliptical can tone muscles and improve endurance whilst being gentle on your joints. You might find you have to work quite hard to get your heart rate in Zone 2.

Strong sporty woman in white sportswear warm up training running on a treadmill climber stairs machine in gym indoors.

Zone 2: Easy

A great form of cross trainer for us runners. Keep that heart rate in Zone 2. You might feel like RPE is higher, as it’s a tough exercise, but a good opportunity to really improve your aerobic engine without the heavy impact of running.

This session always looks worse than it actually is, time soon passes 😆
I’ve started watching instagram reels when I’m on the stair stepper. Time passes much quicker. My favourite reels right now are from a chap called husk.irl who basically winds up AI. It’s comedy gold. Well done on the workout by the way.

56 min spin ✅ managed to lock my watch, so not all recorded! 14.8 miles
Bosh!!! 56 mins is a weird time though. An hour class that was short? Does it matter. Why is he asking me these questions. No need to answer. Well done Su. Banking some good pts ahead of the injection. Hope it goes ok 🤞

Not essential as runners but it’s good to feel strong and can help maintain good form deep into races.

Three days into one, you know me, don’t like to shirk a full week, promise to rest for at least 2 days now! 56 mins swim✅ Arms- in the form of lifting bags of slate chipping, then raking them around 1hr✅ 3 mile solo bimble , then 5.5 mile bimble🩷💙, stretches in the middle 🍊. ✅
I do worry sometimes but equally I respect your determination hugely. Impressive that you managed to get so much done. Again, good luck for the injection. Let me know how it went. Impressive work Su.

Zone 1: Recovery

Zone 1 or below for this swim, so ideal for anyone who likes their breaststroke.

40 min swim, just taking it one step at a time, really want this to work, 🤞. So far, the bursa pain outweighs the knee arthritis. Plan to swim and elliptical then easy bimble Thursday the first real test.
