A lighter week to compensate for the golf day and have you well rested for the handicap race. I’m planning on doing Tuesdays session in Bexhill to give maximum prep for the handicap race. So that should be good. A solid week, lots of easy miles too which is nice. Any issues let me know. Keep up the great work Mark.

Big session this so start off at 10k pace and then look to hit 5k pace for the last 4 reps. Always focus on running tall and staying relaxed.
If you have accurate heart rate data that is far and away the best guide for this run. Stay in Zone 2 if you can.
The biggest mistake we can make with these recovery runs is running too fast. This will mean when our harder sessions come round we are still fatigued and not able to put enough effort in to make the necessary gains.
