Definitely need to change what you are doing based on my research. Often and little is the key to help you. The more you do this at home, the better.
A good mixture of sessions this week with lots of cross training but two good runs, including the chance to push the limits at parkrun on Saturday. Obviously if you need to make any tweaks, let me know. But this looks another strong week, with a good all round balance of a busy routine but not pushing too hard. Keep up the great work Su.

I’m a big fan of consistent splits. With any race avoiding getting swept away with the crowds is key, so focus on that early pace and hold back, settle into a rhythm. Km 4 is often the hardest, so zone in on 4 and dig deep. You got this!
A great way to get the heart pumping to some banging tunes. Have fun 😁
Not essential as runners but it’s good to feel strong and can help maintain good form deep into races.
Enjoy. Swimming is a great alternative to running and probably the best form of cross training.
“Easy means Easy! Not 5k pace, not 10k pace, not even marathon pace. Easy pace!! 😉”
Save those legs for the bigger sessions and enjoy running comfortably among the pack.
Thank you.
