Tuesdays session is a beaut. Obviously we cut this week short because of the walk on Saturday. But another excellent plan, and really happy with the execution and also the progress you have made. Keep it up Ben, a pleasure to work with. I’ll get the form on the dashboard for Plan 5.

Always fun to train in a group. Ask for help if unsure on your technique on the exercises.

ASPT wasn’t on so did the same session as Saturday.
Ah that’s a shame, but really well done for the alternative option 💪

Find a location where you can pick different points on the hill. Lamp posts are great. So for example you would run to the first lamppost and back to the bottom of the hill. Then to the second lamppost and back. Keep making the reps longer until you hit 20 mins, and then start making the reps shorter again.

Focus on effort level rather than pace or heart rate as both will fluctuate depending if you are going up or down the hill

Slightly cheating on this feedback as wrong day – as you may have noticed that I wasn’t at the efforts session! Had Stoolball (52 not out if you are keeping track – notice that I didn’t report back with previous scores of nil and 7 not out!). Anyway, got up fairly early this morning (Wednesday) and got it done in same location. Not sure I pushed myself as hard as I would in the group, but run it all and the uphill was in to the wind, and increased the pace a bit when it was near the end, so very pleased that I still did it. Also did 10 mins WU and CD. Will save Wednesday feedback for Walk to Run assistance this evening.
So impressed you got it done on your own, and I wouldn’t question your commitment to the session, it’s inevitable the effort will be a little lighter without anyone there to chase or support you. Love the stoolball updates, back on top form, great to see, congrats on the half century. Do you get to raise the bat aloft when you score a 50 like in cricket? All round excellence is a good way to describe that period. Well done Ben.

Helped out with Group 3 Walk to Run. Was with the slowest runners in the fastest group so very easy pace. Did 3 x 11 mins, with one min walk.
That’s cool. A bit of Zone 1 work. Nice to be able to help out.

I had to create a new session for you guys. Have fun. 60 mins easy is perfect in terms of training load. Don’t forget those strides as well (if highlighted)

Very easy Bimble. Some of it through Battle Woods so a lot of walking through the overgrown bits and up the hills.
No worries. From time to time this sort of run is fine. It’s if it ever becomes a habit that it would effect fitness levels
