I have left ASPT out, but if you want to go, that’s fine. Just from a points perspective it pushes us over the target with the Pier to Pier this week. Perhaps a lighter Bimble might solve that problem? I will update the assessment tomorrow, but there is also a summary of the last plan now under training stats. Any issues let me know.
Coach Simon๐
Who does 40 mins of yoga? Just for you this one Ben, so far at least. 4pts. You’re welcome.
A great 5k session to improve speed. Don’t got off too quick, so focus on your pace in those first few reps, then you’ll get an idea of how far you can run each rep. We want to be ahead of our current 5k pace though. From there you can then pick up the pace and cadence for the 1 minute reps.
A stretching routine you can do daily to help with your flexibility. 30 seconds for each stretch is plenty.
I had to create a new session for you guys. Have fun. 60 mins easy is perfect in terms of training load.
The Pier to Pier. What a race. Unless you are really pushing for a quick time, in which case, go hard early (need to be well trained for this strategy), my advice is slowly build the pace and work your way through the Zones. But you certainly don’t want to be quicker than half marathon pace until late in the race.
