I don’t know why I like this session so much but I really do! Maybe I should be pushing harder, but I like the fact I can hold a steady uphill pace for the session, and feel good throughout. Great to be running with the group again, too.
A small part of me enjoyed that!
In reply to your feedback on Thursday – I went to see Pitball at Hyde park. It was ALOT of fun, and yes we all wore bald caps in 30 degree heat. I think I did about 37,000 steps that day too π€£
Thoroughly enjoyable Hill training session instead of S&C’s
Kept a steady, easy pace and felt strong and good throughout. My legs didn’t tire at all and felt as comfortable at the end as I did at the start. Got to lamppost 10 and finished before the 40 mins. Completed at least 3 more up to lamppost 1. Could have done more π Does this mean I didn’t work hard enough? I’m also much more confident about running in hot weather which has been a bit of a worry for me in the past. Heart rate high but no more than any other run.
lol sorry that every time I ran past you I grunted or moaned or complained – I actually really enjoyed that one. The complaining is an important part of the process π
Elliptical and stairs β , slow by methodical, intermediate levels. Stretches done before bed, from yesterday. Thanks for support, but for my plan would probably have given up again tonight. π
Did this on Monday morning as I was in the pub for the England game on Saturday then for music on Sunday.
Did 2K warmup off the watch then first 5K was down to7:45/mile pace once I got going. It was windy hot day so the 3K section was only 8:14/ mile pace but actually my pace was 8:24/ mile over the whole run including slower miles and CD. A HMin 1Hr 49β so slower than ideal but not terrible in the conditions.
