Tuesday with the team working on 5k pace and quicker. On Friday we extend the tempo run to 40 mins, this is the last chance to practice your 10k pace ahead of the Saucony race in London. Then keep the Wednesday run and Sunday long run very easy. Keep doing your additional exercises as well. You’re done great Xiulan. Keep it up.

Maintaining your current 5k pace will get progressively more challenging as a session unfolds. So breaking it down in this nature should allow you to maintain that pace for the whole session.
If you have accurate heart rate data that is far and away the best guide for this run. Stay in Zone 2 if you can.
A chance to build your speed endurance. 10k pace is the target here. Ideal for runners who tend to do 10k races in 50 mins+
Try and get into Zone 2 if you can which will probably be a decent pace on the bike.
