RPE is the best area to focus on, 3-4 effort for the easy 30s and then push 7-8 on the quicker 30 seconds.
I do this sometimes. Tweak the plan to spice it up. I feel don’t want it to feel stale so have put a session in there. Given this is Monday, the same day Rosey puts on a session, you could join in with her if you wanted. I think adding a bit of speed and variety gives a bit of spark and depending how it goes we can look to make that weekly earlier than planned. Any issues though let me know. Keep up the great work Amy.

A stretching routine you can do daily to help with your flexibility. 30 seconds for each stretch is plenty.
*reps/seconds on both sides
If some of the sets/reps are too demanding at first, just do what you can, you can always build up to 60s slowly. Wall sits and planks in particular can be tough, so just go to the point you feel you need to stop and repeat that time, even if it’s only 20s.

The biggest mistake we can make with these recovery runs is running too fast. This will mean when our harder sessions come round we are still fatigued and not able to put enough effort in to make the necessary gains.
Keep the effort level down on these easy runs and focus on good running mechanics.
