Classic session. 30 mins on Sub LT2 work. Sit in right under your threshold and focus on HR not pace.
Hopefully back to full health to start smashing out the training again. I’ve changed the speed session to a threshold, purely just to ease in a little more. Plus my lot are doing the same session Tuesday, so nice to be doing the same as the team. A relatively kind week in that sense but some decent mileage to be banked, then next week we step it up again and kick on. Any problems just shout. Keep up the great work Mark.

A stretching routine you can do daily to help with your flexibility. 30 seconds for each stretch is plenty.
*reps/seconds on both sides
A really good home workout for the core and legs. If new to this, don’t worry about hitting the seconds or reps. Do what you can and slowly build up to the targets.
For example you might find you can only hold a plank for 20 seconds at first, which is fine. Don’t push too hard that you get injured. You’ll soon get strong and be able to add more seconds.
If you have an accurate heart rate, then use that as your main data to determine pace, if not RPE is the best option. Hills are always going to cause them to go too high, unless you are super fit. Finish off with some strides.
Keep this nice and easy. Focus on good form & efficient running economy. RPE should be around the 3/10 which means you can run and chat.
Basically 5k but at your 10k pace or zone 5 heart rate. What data metric you choose will depend on the elevation or conditions, as that will have more impact on your pace.
