If doing the 10k Sunday probably wise to sit out efforts and just do an easy run instead. 90 pts is the biggest weekly target we’ve had for a while. Although you might want to skip the CD Sunday and shorten the WU as well. Fingers crossed the leg is ok and you can do the race Sunday xxx

Zone 2: Easy

A great form of cross trainer for us runners. Keep that heart rate in Zone 2. You might feel like RPE is higher, as it’s a tough exercise, but a good opportunity to really improve your aerobic engine without the heavy impact of running.

Done, please remove seated leg curl for now. Felt easyish today, got to get stronger though xxx
Great work darling. Glad it felt easier, that’s a good sign you are getting stronger xxx

Nice and easy. Smile, relax and enjoy. Love life!

With a crisis of confidence because of my knee I struggled to get started. Did manage it but found it hard to do a quick cadence whilst staying in zone 2!!
Perfect. Getting started is so often the hardest thing. Stats are ideal for this type of run. Well done darling.

A great form of cross trainer for us runners. Take a few minutes to warm up at find your stride but then push hard. You can real bang for your buck with just 10 mins on the stair climber. I hit around level 10 when doing these but find the right speed for you that you can maintain, but you find this tough.

A good way to boost cardio whilst reducing the risk of injury. The elliptical can tone muscles and improve endurance whilst being gentle on your joints.

Think I did all this it was a while ago! Was meant to do 20 on elliptical but instead I did 10 mins on there and 10 on the magic stairs as Richard wants to make sure I’m doing enough of those!
Well done darling. Another strong gym session.

Control what you can. The warm up, strides, getting the early pace right and staying positive when it gets tough. You got this!!

Well I got round with my knee support, rpe didn’t exceed 6 and I could have chatted all the way so not sure why my heart rate was high, maybe the heat. Took it steady, tried to stay in the shade but also the middle of the road to avoid a lot of the camber so didn’t always take the racing line. Legs were aching a lot by halfway but I keep getting that around 4km at parkrun so told myself I could keep going. No real knee issue, felt it a couple of times so upped my cadence but surprisingly ok. This injury is very confusing!
Proud of you darling, such a brilliant outcome given the knee and how you’ve had to modify the training. You should be really happy with this outcome in the tough conditions. Onwards and upwards xxx
