Zone 2: Easy

A great form of cross trainer for us runners. Keep that heart rate in Zone 2. You might feel like RPE is higher, as it’s a tough exercise, but a good opportunity to really improve your aerobic engine without the heavy impact of running.

Done apart from abductor as machine was broken xxx
Well done darling. Great work as always. xxx

A great form of cross trainer for us runners. Take a few minutes to warm up at find your stride but then push hard. You can real bang for your buck with just 10 mins on the stair climber. I hit around level 10 when doing these but find the right speed for you that you can maintain, but you find this tough.

Zone 2: Easy

Running with others can reduce perceived effort so parkrun is a good option as an alternative speed session. 10 mins easy WU & CD please.

Thought if I felt ok on my warmup I’d aim to try and beat my best time this (28.03), preferably get sub 28. With your support (and bob) I did it! I’d like to say quite convincingly as strava says 27:37, although pr was 27.41, but I was at 8 mainly 9 effort the whole way and ran my socks off so I couldn’t have done any more and got to the end. Felt like stopping with 500m to go but then told myself if I did I’d have to start again from scratch with this attempt next week, so holding on for the last 500m was probably the better option and would mean i might be able to ease off a little for a couple of weeks!! Thanks is for your company and support, that was a lovely surprise and made a big difference. Love you xxx
Love you too darling. You did amazing to keep pushing hard and get to the end to beat your previous best time. Such a fantastic effort. It was lovely to be able to run with you and help you achieve that. Onwards and upwards xxx
