A stretching routine you can do daily to help with your flexibility. 30 seconds for each stretch is plenty.
Recovery week. But still we keep the quality sessions in there. Love the 20 x 1 min as I feel like perhaps we’ve not converted the marathon training into 5k pace yet. But still time to achieve that. Then the marathon/half session is always popular as it’s a decent mileage but without pushing too hard. Hopefully this week will leave you feeling fresh to kick on for the next 3 weeks where we hit 150pts again. Any problems let me know, but keep up the great work James.

*reps/seconds on both sides
A really good home workout for the core and legs. If new to this, don’t worry about hitting the seconds or reps. Do what you can and slowly build up to the targets.
For example you might find you can only hold a plank for 20 seconds at first, which is fine. Don’t push too hard that you get injured. You’ll soon get strong and be able to add more seconds.
*Recoveries: 30 Seconds after the 30 second reps, 60 seconds after the 60 second reps. Simples.
Coach Simon🍊 “Make a note of RPM & the resistance level so you can increase them as you do more sessions.” Recoveries in between intervals are the same as the effort. So 30 and 60 seconds easy pace.

Don’t go off too fast as 20 reps is a lot. RPE towards the end of each rep should be a 9 and pace will be towards the lower end or just under your 3k targets. Consistency is the key.

A good session to mix up paces. WU & CD very important to slowly build the pace. A flat route is ideal here if you can.
Keep the effort level down on these easy runs and focus on good running mechanics.
