I know we’ve had a few disrupted weeks but sometimes it’s not about the progress we make but almost damage limitation. Now we have an opportunity to bank a really good week, maybe even the best so far. One switch we could make if you wanted another rest day is move your S&C to Thursday alongside the swim, but only if the legs feel ok after 2 days of running in a row. Let’s make this a good week Jan.

Maintaining your current 5k pace will get progressively more challenging as a session unfolds. So breaking it down in this nature should allow you to maintain that pace for the whole session.
If you have accurate heart rate data that is far and away the best guide for this run. Stay in Zone 2 if you can.

This should be a good all round workout which will hopefully help with you keep those niggles at bay. The idea being we can slowly add to these. Those doing the best with their strength are the ones who keep it simple and consistent, week in week out.
If time is ever an issue. You can do some supersets. What is a superset? It means combined 2 exercises together, ideally ones that are different.
For example you might do 1 set of Bent Knee Calf Raises, and rather than just twiddle your thumbs for 60 seconds before doing the next set, you do a wall sit inbetween.
This is likely to be Bewl 15 as it’s the only 15 mile race I know of. Marathon pace is a good target here as the trails and likely warm conditions will slow you down a fraction, not to mention the hills late on.
