Some of us are doing the Weald Challenge (22km trail race) Sunday and heading for lunch afterwards if you fancy joining us. A good way of getting the long run banked. Just be wary if also doing the Alan Corke as well though as they are close together. It could also be smart to consider bringing the long run forward to Saturday, to give you 2 days rest before tackling those hills next week ๐ค Let me know, but keep up the great work Jo.

Alternative Exercises:
Cable Torso Rotation – Russian Twist
Goblet Squat – Leg Press & Single Leg Press
Kettle Bell Romanian Deadlift – Barbell Deadlift
Kettle Bell Bent Over Row – Any pull machine
Chest Press – Shoulder Press
Some other good options I like, seated leg curl, ab crunch, farmers carry., abductor and adductor machines.
If you have accurate heart rate data that is far and away the best guide for this run. Stay in Zone 2 if you can.

A real opportunity to work on both speed and good running economy. Train faster to race faster. I love this session.
