On Tuesday try and hold back the pace in that first km. I think you have a tendency to go off too quick and if you are paired with a few other runners, use them as your pacers. If you finish the handicap race strongly it’s much more fun. A good week though with 120 points on the table and a chance to make some decent progress. Keep up the fantastic work Lou. You got this.

I’m a big fan of consistent splits. With any race avoiding getting swept away with the crowds is key, so focus on that early pace and hold back, settle into a rhythm. Km 4 is often the hardest, so zone in on 4 and dig deep. You got this!

Try and keep it easy. It all depends on your current level. If slowly adding time to your long run the last 10-20 mins might be tough. Focus on good form.
