I like this week. We tick all the boxes. Speed sesh โ Back to back long runs โ S&C โ Mobility work โ Cross Training โ Recovery โ All those different elements make a really good week of training with 125pts on the table. In terms of the bike, getting the HR up can be challenging, so it’s a case of either fast on the flats or adding in some hills to make that work. But a strong week with 125+ pts up for grabs.

It all depends on the nature of the session as to how hard you want to work. The longer the reps, the slightly slower the pace will be. Or if doing hills, focus on RPE rather than pace. But you always want to be working hard to ensure you make the necessary gains.

**2 sets of dumbbells, one in each hand.
You can superset two exercises together. I’ve tried to set it up like that. So you would do 15 reps of deadlifts, straight into 10 reps of Tricep Dips, and then repeat 3 times. Helps save on recoveries and can make the session shorter. It’s not essential, but an option.
You’ll likely need to push the pace a little just to get the heart rate into Zone 1, so don’t be fooled into thinking this will be an easy bike ride.

Keep this nice and easy. Focus on good form & efficient running economy. RPE should be around the 3/10 which means you can run and chat.
