Dragged out by hubby and ran a very slow 5k to get out in fresh air and try to clear my head. Felt like I had nothing physically or emotionally but it helped. Ran with no watch or HR monitor as I was not interested in that. It was just about trying to get myself back out

Didn’t go to plan. My breathing was all over the place in the warm up, felt a bit like anxiety maybe about running fast, but could have also been the heat, but I decided it would be a bad move to try and put myself under pressure to get a fast time especially as I just didn’t feel I’d be able to achieve it. A last minute decision meant I grabbed the 31 minute pacer vest 5 minutes before the start! Jake then rang and said he might come along so I told him to be quick and I’d be wearing the pacer vest. Saw him about 1km in and he ran with me the whole way which was really nice and I was able to chat to him, I wouldn’t have been able to do this running fast, also he was pleased as he didn’t need to stop and walk at that pace so it worked out for the best. It’s a recovery week anyway but hopefully I didn’t drop too many points as I was still working quite hard rpe 7 I’d say xxx

Pretty brutal in the conditions ridiculously humid after the cold and with the heat did this on effort and heart rate and not pace so pace little off of the zone (tight corners also didn’t help) came back home after every rep to hydrate and had a few extended cooling breaks which seemed to work well. Probably 95% over the cold now.

Elliptical completed. Seems easy after doing 30mins on stairs last week! Competed all the other bits apart from ham curls. Did 4 mins of skipping. I was competing with a man about my age who was also skipping. However. He was very basic! My skipping involves music and different moves! I won! He was in awe! πŸ€ͺ😜
