Not essential as runners but it’s good to feel strong and can help maintain good form deep into races.
I’ve tweaked it slightly to give you until Thursday before we attempt a run. If you 90 mins of elliptical sounds boring we could tweak one of those. If you ever get access to a stair climber in a gym, make the most of that, it’s a brilliant piece of equipment which should bring more gains, although be way it doesn’t make the calf worse. Hopefully come the weekend we’ll be able to put in two good session. But any problems, just let me know.

Great session. If short on time superset a few exercises. Let’s do this 💪
A stretching routine you can do daily to help with your flexibility. 30 seconds for each stretch is plenty.
“A good way to boost cardio without the impact. A banging playlist can help.”
A good way to boost cardio whilst reducing the risk of injury. The elliptical can tone muscles and improve endurance whilst being gentle on your joints. You might find you have to work quite hard to get your heart rate in Zone 2.

If you have an accurate heart rate, then use that as your main data to determine pace, if not RPE is the best option. Hills are always going to cause them to go too high, unless you are super fit. Finish off with some strides.
