I feel like a nagging spouse or over protective parent putting Stretches in their every day (well 6 days), but I think it can help you, knowing from experience how much it helps me. A solid week though. For the speed session it might be worth doing the first 5 minute rep at your target 5 mile pace, just for a bit of practice. Any issues just shout but hopefully work allows most of this to be completed ๐๐ช

A good speed session and a chance to increase pace as the reps get shorter. Work hard and enjoy!

The biggest mistake we can make with these recovery runs is running too fast. This will mean when our harder sessions come round we are still fatigued and not able to put enough effort in to make the necessary gains.

Keep this nice and easy. Focus on good form & efficient running economy. RPE should be around the 3/10 which means you can run and chat.
