A stretching routine you can do daily to help with your flexibility. 30 seconds for each stretch is plenty.
3 easy runs this week, the aim being to build a bit of last minute endurance before your P2P attempt. The one sessions is a good one. It goes with that mentality of breaking down a run into sections and I reckon you’ll be able to average below your 5k PB pace for each km, conditions being favourable that is. But that would be the target. A second or two per km under 5k pb pace. I do like setting a challenge. 130pts on the table again so working at a really high level right now. Keep it up Kirsty.

*reps/seconds on both sides
A really good home workout for the core and legs. If new to this, don’t worry about hitting the seconds or reps. Do what you can and slowly build up to the targets.
For example you might find you can only hold a plank for 20 seconds at first, which is fine. Don’t push too hard that you get injured. You’ll soon get strong and be able to add more seconds.
2km WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 2)
6 x 1km @ 5K Pace (RPE: 8)
2 Minute Recoveries
2km CD @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)
A simple effective session for runners striving for a 5K PB. Focus on trying to hit goal pace.
If you have an accurate heart rate, then use that as your main data to determine pace, if not RPE is the best option. Hills are always going to cause them to go too high, unless you are super fit. Finish off with some strides.

If you have accurate heart rate data that is far and away the best guide for this run. Stay in Zone 2 if you can.
