There is a lot on the table this week for sure. But hopefully the fact there is only 3 runs will help. The 2 big sessions being the key. Sunday is huge. At this stage I think 5:00 per km for that volume is pushing too hard. I would focus on 5:10-5:15, assuming conditions are favourable, slower if not, get the distance in, rather than focusing too heavily on pace. That will bring the best gains. But whilst tough its a hell of an opportunity to make some serious improvement this week. Smash it!!

*Recoveries:
120 Seconds for the 5 Mins Reps.
90 Seconds for the 2 Min Reps.
A good session to start off with your 5k pace and then pick up the speed as we move into the shorter reps. See if you can finish with your fastest lap in that final rep!!
Great session. If short on time superset a few exercises. Let’s do this ๐ช
A great form of cross trainer for us runners. Keep that heart rate in Zone 2. You might feel like RPE is higher, as it’s a tough exercise, but a good opportunity to really improve your aerobic engine without the heavy impact of running.
If you have accurate heart rate data that is far and away the best guide for this run. Stay in Zone 2 if you can.
Combining legs and arms into one session.
*reps/seconds on both sides
Rather than just head out and do 60 mins easy, this goes through the gears a little and will hopefully help you improve running economy as the speed picks up a little. It’s still a light session but makes the easy runs more interesting. Best done on the flat to hit consistent paces.
2km WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)
6km @ Marathon Pace (RPE: 4)
1km @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)
5km @ Marathon Pace (RPE: 5)
1km @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)
4km @ Marathon Pace (RPE: 6)
1km @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)
3km @ Marathon Pace (RPE: 7)
1km @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)
2km @ Marathon Pace (RPE: 7)
1km @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)
1km @ Marathon Pace (RPE: 7)
2km CD @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)
Looks like a beast on paper but 21km at marathon pace at this stage of the plan should be achievable. Keep those float kms super easy. Go smash it!
