Easing back into the new plan with just 1 session. But the hills Friday (Ridge maybe?) will test you. The Barry Richards 10k next week? I think that is a race you could do well in hence why I have been quite light with the schedule building up to that. I hope you can do it. It’s next Thursday (6th Aug). Any problems, shout.

A really good home workout for the core and legs. If new to this, don’t worry about hitting the seconds or reps. Do what you can and slowly build up to the targets.

For example you might find you can only hold a plank for 20 seconds at first, which is fine. Don’t push too hard that you get injured. You’ll soon get strong and be able to add more seconds.

Back from holiday this morning! Jumped straight into a bit of S&C and trying to touch my toes! Still can’t! Ate so much lush French bread last week now a fat bottomed girl, but that’s ok they make the rocking world go round! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂 That is so funny, love that lyric. If you can’t eat too much on holiday then when can you. Great to be back on plan and smashing out the S&C. Awesome work Kirsty. PS. Running from Eastbourne to Hastings is a bloody long way 🤦‍♂️

If you have an accurate heart rate, then use that as your main data to determine pace, if not RPE is the best option. Hills are always going to cause them to go too high, unless you are super fit. Finish off with some strides.

Likely your heart rate will climb as you run up the hills, so don’t worry too much about drifting into Zone 3 for the hills, try and keep the rest in Zone 2.
