Completed Friday evening.
I really had to drag myself out to get this done but so glad I did as really enjoyed this session π Was tough, but felt strong π
Nice stretch to finish as well π
Sorry no points for me , I wanted to give the 5k tomorrow my best , if I had to run even slow for an hour it would be detrimental . Back to my schedule next week promise
Amazing run on rye reserve… stunning. Loved that I did 10.3km in an hour too, and pretty much consistent HR between 141 and 144! Totally ran out of time for gym but I will fit it in tomorrow!
Your toxic ten note is so true. My first mile on a solo run is always barely out of a clunky walk. My first 3K were super slow and my last 3K were fairly quick and far more enjoyable. I did 100 minutes as I was running so slowly and kept this run took me ten minutes longer than it could have.
Legs done in the gym and core plus mobility done at home waiting to tea to cook. Legs feel good post race but super tired after a poor night sleep (often happens post race) and a day in the office. But it got done.
